3 out of 5 stars Not what we expected...   October 6, 2009
Jill Schultz (wisconsin)
I ordered this for my 10-year old son. He'd seen this helmet and thought he had finally found something that would fit over his glasses. We were so disappointed to find that the helmet is actually two halves that velcro together. It is so narrow I can't imaging it fitting anyone but the smallest of children. Not only that, but the "goggles" velcro into the front of the helmet and the velcro for ours was laying in the bottom of the package before we even opened it so it will need to be glued on to them again. The whole helmet is VERY cheaply made and feels like it will crack at the slightest pressure while fastening it together. The jumpsuit is the better part of the costume. It's surprisingly thicker that standard halloween costumes and feels like it will hold up well. The costume actually comes with directions (to put on the many straps that come with it for the control panel) so that was a first for me, but helpful. Overall, my son loves the jumpsuit but without a helmet that fits properly, it's still a toss-up whether we'll keep it or not since the character isn't recognizable without it.

2 out of 5 stars Could be a great costume, but the plastic fails   November 7, 2009

The fabric costume itself is good quality, but the plastic helmet and chest piece broke easily because they are so eggshell flimsy. The velcro pieces that hold the visor would not stay glued (before the costume was even worn.) My child wore these things once and they were ruined. CHEAP.

1 out of 5 stars Very cheaply made   August 27, 2009

This costume looks good in the picture, but it's very poorly made and they are showing the wrong helmet. The helmet shown in the picture is not what you get. The helmet in the picture is the one they sell separately for $90. The one you get with this costume is two plastic pieces that you are expected to hold together with a couple of pieces of velcro stickers that fall off as soon as you open the bag. No chin strap either.
